2025. gada Baltijas valstu arboristu čempionāts (BSTCC - Baltic States Tree Climbing Championship) norisināsies no 5. līdz 7. jūnijam Carnikavas parka teritorijā. Tā ir lieliska izdevība dažādu valstu arboristiem veikt pieredzes un zināšanu apmaiņu, kā arī sabiedrībai iepazīt koku kopšanas jomu un arboristu profesiju kā noderīgu, aktīvu un veselīgu dzīvesveidu. Čempionātu kopš 2012. gada katru gadu rīko cita Baltijas valsts, un nu kārta atkal pienākusi Latvijai. Pēdējā reize, kad sacensības norisinājās Latvijā bija 2022. gadā Tērvetes rehabilitācijas centra parkā, iepriekš 2018. gadā Bulduru dārzkopības vidusskolā. Pagājušjā gadā sacensības notika Igaunijā Luua mežkopības skolā. Nākošajā gadā tās notiks Lietuvā.

Sacensties ierodas arboristi no visām trim Baltijas valstīm, kā arī mēdz piedalīties dalībnieki  no citām Eiropas un pasaules valstīm. Darbība notiks parkā augošajos kokos, atveidojot darba vides apstākļus. Sacensību pirmajā dienā, piektdien, visas dienas garumā dalībnieki sacentīsies 5 dažādās kvalifikācijas disciplīnās (Darba pozīcijas sasniegšana, Glābšana, Trāpīgā mešana, Tehniskā kāpšana, Rāpšanās kokā, Studentu sacensības), bet sestdien notiks Finālsacensība labākajiem, kurā visas šīs disciplīnas tiek apvienotas vienā izaicinājumā. Čempionāts tiek rīkots Starptautiskās Kokkopju-Arboristu biedrības (ISA - International Society of Arboriculture) uzraudzībā un saskaņā ar ISA apstiprinātajiem Starptautiskajiem arboristu čempionātu (ITCC - International Tree Climbing Championships) noteikumiem. Uzvarētāji, kas pārstāv kādu no Baltijas valstīm, iegūst tiesības nākamajos trijos gados, pārstāvot savu valsti, piedalīties Eiropas arboristu čempionātā (ETCC - European Tree Climbing Championship).

Sacensību disciplīnas ierīko Baltijas valstu arboristu uzņēmumi, tiesāšanu veic Baltijas valstu arboristi un kopā pasākuma veiksmīgu norisi nodrošina vairāku desmitu brīvprātīgo kopīgs darbs. Čempionātu atbalsta un balvu fondu gādā arboristu aprīkojuma  ražotāji un tirgotāji, kā arī citi ar nozari gan saistīti, gan nesaistīti uzņēmumi.

Baltic States Tree Climbing Championship 2025 (BSTCC) will be held from JUNE 5 till June 7 in the territory Carnikava city park. It is a great opportunity for arborists from different countries to exchange experience and knowledge and for community to learn about tree care industry and arborist trade as a useful, active and healthy lifestyle. The championship is organized yearly since 2012 by each Baltic state consecutively, and now it is Latvia's turn again. The last time the competition took place in Latvia was in 2022 in Tervete rehabilitation center’s park, before that it was held in 2018 at Bulduri Horticulture School. Last year competition was held in Luua forestry school. Next year the competitors will gather in Lithuania for the competition.

Arborists from all three Baltic states arrive to compete, as well as participants from other countries in Europe and around the world. The action will take place in the trees growing in the park, imitating work environment. Throughout the first day of the competition, on Friday, participants will compete in 5 different preliminary events (Work Climb, Aerial Rescue, Throwline, Ascent, Speed Climb, Student competition) and on Saturday there will be a Masters' Challenge for the best, where all the preliminary events are combined in one challenge. The championship is organized under the supervision of International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and in accordance with the rules of International Tree Climbing Championships (ITCC) approved by ISA. The winners who represent one of the Baltic states get the right during the next three years to represent their country and participate in European Tree Climbing Championship (ETCC).

The events of the competition are set up by arborist companies from the Baltic states, refereed by the arborists of the Baltic states and a successful organization of the championship is ensured by the joint effort of several dozen volunteers. The championship is supported and the prize fund is provided by manufacturers and dealers of arborist equipment, as well as other companies, both related and unrelated to the industry.
